I’m currently working with a few clients and trying to get them summer internships. The goal is to get the word out about my company.
I thought a smart way to do that would be to speak at colleges and get the students’ attention. I’m also speaking with a Los Angeles organization called HOLA (Heart of Los Angeles) to build a mentor program and help students for free. I went online and built a chart with contact information for all of the schools. I really just googled “California colleges.”
I’ve heard back from one school and I hope to hear back from a few more by the end of the week. I recently did an interview for a big Los Angeles paper and it is holding the story until I get more local speaking gigs. I hope that will add to the attendence at my speaking gigs.
My motivation has actually been very high lately, which is great. I added some exercising into my schedule, and I really think its making a difference: It is giving me an outlet for my stress.
