I’m sure you thought I had dropped off the planet and given up all hope of succeeding in my business. And let me tell you, I came close. But I am back and business is brewing. I came back from the holidays with a fresh outlook, a fresh slate of calls to make and a fresh slate of goals for my company.
I’m currently speaking with some investors about working with my company. I will know more about this at the end of the month. Meanwhile, I’m working with clients trying to get them summer internships. As of January 1, summer internship season has started. I’m trying to get the word out about my consulting business and also trying to get out to different schools and be a guest speaker. Rumor has it that I will be featured in the new issue of Justine magazine, so I’m trying to get my new website up and running before then.
I traveled to London over the holidays and just got back from a weekend in Palm Springs. I’ve been getting a lot of work done at night–lots of e-mails going out and lots of business getting done. I’ll be back to blogging regularly as of today, so I will keep you posted about my day-to-day efforts. I got a great response to my last posting about mentors, and I’m glad so many of you have reached out.
